All Things Iced

Have you ever felt like making iced tea is too much of a hassle?  Have you been burned trying to pour large, heavy quantities of hot tea over ice?  Have you accidentally melted all the ice, leaving cloudy, watery tea-murk?  Well, we've been there.  We've made it our mission this year to identify the most refreshing, delicious teas over ice, and pair them with the simplest, safest methods for brewing.

Here are three Iced Teas we know you'll love.

A beautiful, pink-hued infusion of tart hibiscus, calming tulsi, and whole leaf stevia lightly spiced with cinnamon bark.  Packed in single-gallon sachets to make iced tea preparation smooth and simple.

Richly caffeinated black tea yielding a deep auburn infusion with chocolatey notes characteristic of the most select Yunnan harvests. Hand-picked and artisan crafted at 6000 ft.  Packed in convenient sachets to make a 1 gallon pitcher of iced tea in about 5 minutes.

Metolius Chai

Metolius Chai is an all organic, creamy elixir of cardamom, fresh ginger, and cracked pepper, velvety sweet, handsomely caffeinated, with warming notes of cinnamon and cayenne.

Shake over ice to get some froth, or simply stir 1.5 tablespoons into 7 oz of milk and ice.

Use What You've Got

If you want to make iced tea with the loose leaf teas you've already got stocked in your cupboard, here are some guidelines:

  • Use double the amount of tea on your jar's steeping instructions
  • Steep in hot water for the same amount of time on your jar's steeping instructions.
    • If you want to sweeten, now's the time.
  • Strain over a full glass of ice
  • And enjoy!
