2018 Spring Seasonals
As Spring approached this year, one of our friends requested a white tea with pear; a local cafe asked us for our take on turmeric; an elephant conservationist invited us to support their movement in India; one of our tea maker's husbands was curious about hojicha; and we recalled a tea we made in the past as a kind of love note. This is how our creativity sprouted into the 2018 Spring Seasonals.
This year's set features some edgy flavor combinations that we think will intrigue and inspire you.
A digestive tonic with a bright accents of honey, cardamom, and lemongrass. Smooth, warmly spiced, and bright. Enjoy over ice in the summertime. Make extra strong to enjoy tumeric’s special properties.
A playful dance of slow-roasted Japanese green tea, full bodied, large-leaved Taiwanese oolong, and bright rose petals. Enjoy multiple infusions as the oolong continues to unfold.
A sweet and spicy chocolate infusion with rose petals, strawberries, pink and black pepper, and cayenne, decorated with big chrysanthemum blossoms. Steep in warm milk for a decadent experience.
Tenzing Bodosa, a conservation minded tea farmer in Assam, India, is leading a movement to reverse threats to elephants in tea growing regions. We are proud supporters.
